The Devaux Tavanas GDC 12 is a highly visible sedge, particularly effective in current and in situations where you need a clear reference point throughout the drift. Its large fluoro orange tuft stands out instantly on the water and makes the fly easy to track, even at distance.

With its light grey body, full dressing and long wing, it suggests the silhouette of an adult caddisfly. Properly treated with floatant, it also has enough buoyancy to be used for dry-dropper fishing and to carry a nymph fitted with a tungsten bead up to 2.8 mm.
