Dry Fly - CDC Wing Sedge - Tan Body
The CDC Wing Sedge - Tan Body is a dry fly designed to imitate an adult caddisfly sitting on the surface. Its light body and CDC wing give it a natural, easily recognizable silhouette.
The brown hackle adds volume at the front of the fly. The soft CDC wing keeps the profile light and natural on the water. A simple, effective imitation when sedges are active.
Key Features
- CDC wing: a light, natural silhouette on the water.
- Tan body: a light shade suited to many adult caddisflies.
- Brown hackle: adds relief and strengthens the fly's surface presence.
Fishing Tip
Use during caddisfly hatches or falls, especially toward the end of the day. It can be presented on a drag-free drift or given slight movement when sedges are active on the surface.
