Dry Fly - Peacock Quill CDC F-Fly
The Peacock Quill CDC F-Fly is a small dry fly with a slim, clean profile. Its peacock quill body creates a well-defined natural segmentation, complemented by a supple CDC wing that adds lightness and buoyancy.
The lack of tails reinforces its very simple profile, close to that of many small adult insects sitting on the water. Its carefully picked-out thorax adds volume and gives it a natural, realistic look without overloading the dressing.
This F-Fly is especially effective for trout and grayling when fish are feeding on small surface insects. It is well suited to smooth glides, slow seams and delicate drifts, where a discreet presentation can make all the difference.
