Javi Nymph - Brown / Orange Tag - Silver
The Javi Brown / Orange Tag - Silver combines a brown body, a silver head and a UV orange tag, creating an attractive, well-balanced contrast underwater.
The silver color adds a bright, clear flash that catches the light easily. Paired with brown and orange, it provides a strong visual trigger without making the nymph overly bright.
It is part of our Tactical Series collection: a selection of premium nymphs carefully tied by our most experienced fly tyers.
A dense, compact Javi
The key feature of a Javi lies in its dense tungsten body. Its compact, smooth and varnished profile reduces current resistance and helps it sink quickly down to fish holding deep.
Tied on a Dohiku hook
All sizes are tied on Dohiku HDN 302 hooks, known for their consistency and excellent sharpness.

When should you use the Silver version?
The silver finish is especially effective in low light: on overcast days, at dawn, at dusk or during cold mornings. Its clean flash creates a highly visible contrast while keeping a cool tone.
This version is also highly valued in cold, slightly stained water or rivers affected by snowmelt. It makes an excellent searching nymph, especially early in the season. As always, fish response can vary depending on the river and the conditions on the day.
Match the weight to the conditions
The four available diameters, from 2,4 to 3,6 mm, let you match the weight to the depth and speed of the current. The smaller sizes suit lighter presentations, while the heavier models quickly reach deep or powerful current seams.
La Fine Mouche's verdict: this Silver version adds a clean flash that perfectly complements the brown body and UV orange tag. Its dense, compact profile makes it an excellent searching nymph when fish are holding close to the bottom or when a stronger visual trigger is needed.
