Hybrid Nymph - Black Pink - Light Pink UV Bead
The Black Pink Hybrid Nymph combines a slim, varnished black body with a darker, more lively thorax. This pattern blends the clean silhouette of a perdigon with the bulk and vibration of a more traditional nymph.
Its black body with iridescent ribbing keeps a discreet profile, completed by a thorax made with fine sparkling fibers. The metallic light pink UV bead creates a highly visible trigger point. Its UV reflections stimulate fish aggression and trigger reaction takes, especially in low light or colored water.

A versatile hybrid nymph

Tied on a premium Hanák hook
The Black Pink is tied on the Hanák H 460 BL barbless jig hook. Its jig shape helps the fly ride with the point facing upward, greatly reducing the risk of snagging during drifts close to the bottom.
This high-end model features a wide gape and an exceptionally sharp point. It delivers excellent hook-ups and secure fish holding, even in small sizes.

Match the weight to the conditions
The 2.3 to 2.8 mm beads are ideal for shallow water, moderate currents and light presentations. The 3 to 3.5 mm diameters cover most river conditions. The 3.8 mm version lets you search deeper or more powerful current seams.
La Fine Mouche's take: quite simply, this is my favorite nymph and one of the first flies I reach for. It never lets me down and works in a wide range of conditions. Its careful tying and excellent Hanák H 460 BL hook make it a nymph I trust completely.
