The Vision Hero #3-5 Nymph & Dry is a reel designed specifically for delicate nymph and dry fly fishing. Its closed frame, narrow spool and 137 g weight make it an excellent choice for pairing with light rods and long rods intended for euro nymphing.
The frame and spool are die-cast, then CNC-machined to combine lightness, precision and accessibility. Its smooth, powerful drag is built around five carbon and stainless steel discs.
With its 95 mm diameter, Large Arbor spool and narrow profile, the Hero Nymph & Dry provides fast line pickup and even storage of the fly line or nymphing line.
A closed frame suited to euro nymphing
The integral Full-Frame frame prevents fine lines and monofilaments used in euro nymphing from slipping between the spool and the frame. This design reduces the risk of jamming and makes the reel particularly well suited to modern nymphing techniques.
