The JMC Astral Kola is a fly reel made entirely from machined aluminium. Its dual dark grey and silver anodised finish, combined with a bronze-coloured sealed drag housing, gives it a particularly elegant look.
Its slim-spoked frame has been deliberately refined to keep weight down while maintaining excellent rigidity. The precise, progressive micro-adjustable drag lets you fine-tune tension and fight fish confidently on fine tippets.
The Extra Large Arbor spool provides fast line pickup and helps reduce fly line memory. Thanks to its marine-grade treatment, the Astral Kola can be used in both fresh water and saltwater environments, with appropriate care after each outing.

Which Version Should You Choose?
The #4/6 version is ideal for everyday trout fishing with dry flies, nymphs or small streamers. Its WF5 capacity with 100 m of backing provides a comfortable reserve for rivers and lakes.
The #7/9 version is suited to more powerful fly lines, stillwater fly fishing, streamers and targeting harder-fighting fish. Its marine-grade treatment also allows it to be used in saltwater.
