The Soldarini Hydropsyche MAX-D 10' is a high-end fly rod that we selected above all for stillwater and lake fly fishing. Offered here in #6 line and #7 line versions, it is particularly well suited to distance work, nymphing and streamer fishing. Its 10' / 305 cm length makes line control and drift management easier, while also remaining a strong option for certain large-river tactics.
The MAX-D series uses the new Graph-carbon resins developed by Soldarini to create rods that are light, strong and exceptionally well balanced. Its extra fast action favours accuracy and line speed. The build includes a Full Wells grip with fighting butt, a down-locking reel seat with carbon insert, and an EVA handle with composite cork ends.
