ALPINE DIVER WADING BOOTS
THE BEST OF ITALIAN CRAFTSMANSHIP
After two years of rigorous testing on the toughest alpine river terrain, Hotfly is proud to present its first wading boot: the ALPINE DIVER. Designed for those who spend a lot of time on the water, this boot is the ideal companion to tackle all conditions, ensuring maximum comfort and top-level safety.
The ALPINE DIVER embodies the excellence of Made in Italy, combining the expertise of Italian master shoemakers with Hotfly's fly fishing experience. The result is a wading boot that delivers an unmatched combination of comfort, easy fit and ruggedness, reflecting the quality and innovation that only Italian craftsmanship can guarantee.

DESIGN AND MAXIMUM COMFORT
A considerable amount of time was dedicated to creating a unique internal last for the ALPINE DIVER, specifically designed to ensure the best possible fit and exceptional comfort. This last is designed to suit medium/large feet, with a wide toe box that comfortably accommodates your waders' neoprene booties.
A key design element is the wide opening, which makes them extremely easy to put on. The tongue, split into two sections and designed to fold easily, greatly eases foot entry. In addition, the collar around the tongue is designed to open exceptionally wide, helping to simplify and speed up putting the boot on and taking it off.

In addition, the back of the boot is designed to be lower than traditional standards, a feature that brings significant benefits both when putting them on and during use. This solution helps improve the comfort and functionality of the boots in several ways:
- The lower heel section makes it easier to slide your foot into the boot, making the process easier and faster. This reduced heel height lessens the obstruction that could create rubbing or excessive pressure on the heel when inserting the foot. This way, you can put these boots on more easily and with less hassle.
- While walking, a lower heel allows greater freedom of movement at the heel, reducing the risk of rubbing or irritation. This setup lets the foot adapt better to changing terrain and to the natural walking motion. Especially for those who frequently walk on rough ground, this design contributes to a less tiring and more comfortable stride.

The Alpine Diver wading boots feature high-quality galvanized hardware. The Easy Roller ball-bearing system ensures smooth lace glide, protecting the laces from premature wear. This system minimizes friction and delivers quick, effortless lacing. The galvanized eyelets not only offer excellent corrosion resistance, but are also highly resistant to weather and wear, ensuring a long service life even with intensive use.
An additional advantage lies in the special lace hooks, which make it easier to achieve a perfect, stable closure. These hooks are designed to keep the laces in place, preventing them from loosening during use. This closure system greatly enhances safety, ensuring the laces do not slip and remain securely fastened even on the most demanding hikes. This way, you can fully focus on fishing, without having to constantly readjust your boots or deal with unexpected issues caused by loose laces.

RUGGEDNESS
The ALPINE DIVER is built to excel in the most extreme conditions by using top-quality materials. The high-strength microfiber upper is one of the features that contributes to its exceptional durability. This material is chosen for its tear resistance and abrasion resistance, ensuring the boots maintain their integrity and performance even after prolonged use in harsh environments.
For additional protection, the ALPINE DIVER is equipped with a TPU protective rand that wraps around the entire lower part of the upper. This rand is designed to protect the upper from impacts that can occur when used on rough terrain. Its presence not only increases the boot's overall durability, but also helps extend its lifespan, preventing daily wear from compromising its structure and effectiveness.
Thanks to its solid construction and the rugged materials used, the ALPINE DIVER is certainly not the lightest wading boot on the market. However, this weight is a clear indication of its ability to provide unmatched stability and superior durability. This added ruggedness allows the boot to tackle tough terrain and maintain excellent long-term performance, while ensuring maximum comfort.
The boot's stiffness provides excellent ankle support, effectively helping to prevent twists and sprains. This makes it an ideal choice for tackling the roughest terrain with confidence and stability. Every step becomes safer, giving you maximum support and protection on your fishing adventures.
The combination of a high-quality microfiber upper and a TPU protective rand makes the ALPINE DIVER ideal for those who fish hard in demanding environments. This boot is designed for reliability and long-lasting performance, allowing you to fully focus on your fishing without worrying about where you place your feet.
THE OUTSOLE
The ALPINE DIVER wading boot features high-quality outsoles, available in felt and Vibram rubber, to provide excellent traction across a wide variety of terrain. The felt sole, increased to 12 mm, significantly boosts its durability. Both outsole options can be fitted with studs, further improving grip. To ensure a long service life and optimal performance, we also offer a resoling service for the ALPINE DIVER. You can replace the worn sole directly with us, so your boots keep delivering support and reliability over the long term.
This wading boot is entirely made in Italy and combines durability and comfort thanks to premium materials and Italian craftsmanship. Even if it may not be the least expensive option in our range, its durability and build quality prove that its price is surprisingly low. It's a great deal for those looking for the best in their fly fishing adventures and want a reliable companion by their side.
