Veevus "IRIS THREAD" Thread
The "Iris Thread" from renowned Danish manufacturer "Veevus" is designed for tying fly bodies, but its uses are many.
This thread is made from coloured mylar in 2 or 3 tones and is reinforced with a very fine, ultra-strong core that gives it excellent durability.
Its shine is finer and more even than tinsel: you get a subtle “flash” effect, highly effective when you want a visual trigger without going over the top. Available in 22 colours!
Its diameter corresponds to 2/0.
This thread can be used for all types of flies: terrestrials, emergers, wet flies and streamers.
But it truly excels for tying perdigon nymphs or Duracell-style nymphs.
