Perdigon Nymph - Black with a Red Tag
The Black with a Red Tag is a must-have nymph. Its combination of a dark body and a bright red tag at the rear (the distinctive "red butt") makes it a highly attractive imitation. It can trigger takes from even the wariest fish.
The "Black Perdigon with a Red Tag" nymph is part of our "Tactical Series" nymph collection. These premium perdigons use the finest materials available. They are meticulously tied by our most experienced fly tier.
The "Black Perdigon with a red tag - SILVER Bead " benefits from a unique varnishing process for unrivalled quality.
Two types of varnish are used, applied in 4 stages:
- The first two coats use a ceramic finishing varnish, designed to preserve the materials' colours over time. Each coat requires 48 hours to dry.
- The third coat is a UV resin, cured under a UV lamp.
- The fourth and final coat is also a UV resin, but it is cured by direct exposure to sunlight for 10 hours.
That makes a total of 4 coats of varnish!
These multiple coats of varnish and UV resin make the nymph highly resistant to wear, impacts with obstacles and abrasion against stones.
These perdigons are also tied on top-quality Hanák hooks:
- H 230 BL in sizes 12 and 14.
- H 130 BL in sizes 14, 16 and 18.
Exceptionally consistent and sharp, these hooks rank among the best in the world.

Please note that some nymph sizes may occasionally be tied on Dohiku 301 hooks if Hanak hooks are out of stock. Dohiku hooks offer the same high level of quality.
Optimised sink rate
Thanks to their smooth, varnished bodies, perdigons sink quickly through the water column. This allows them to reach deeper areas and fish holding near the bottom, even in fast currents.
Match the weight to the river conditions:
To avoid alerting wary fish, it is essential to let the nymph drift as naturally as possible. The weight has a considerable impact on the quality of your drifts.
If you fish "too heavy", your line will be too tight. The nymph will drag underwater and alert the fish.
If you fish "too light", your nymph will stay in the upper water column and be swept along very quickly by the current.

Excellent... trees simple d'utilisation, j'y suis arrivé, et fait de super noeuds baril. Je recommande surtout pour les débutant comme moi; Noeuds fait avec du fil Maxima Chaméléon.
