La Fine Mouche's take: I personally use these straps to bundle the sections of my rods before sliding them into my JMC Rod Care Camo travel case. The neoprene adds light protection between rod sections, and the hook-and-loop closure is especially practical because it lets you adjust the tension freely along the strap. The 3.5 cm long x 2 mm wide slot also lets you pass a guide through it so the strap stays securely in place. It is a simple little accessory, but genuinely useful for transporting several rods neatly and preventing the sections from moving around inside the case.
