The Premium natural caribou hair on hide is selected for tying flies that require buoyancy, volume and a well-defined silhouette.
Each piece measures approximately 7 × 7 cm and features hair around 4 cm long.
Naturally hollow, caribou hair traps air and provides excellent buoyancy. It can be used to create wings, bodies or heads, and can also be trimmed to form compact, bulky shapes.
This material is particularly suitable for sedges, bulky dry flies, muddlers, bombers and mouse patterns. Supplied on the hide, the hair is easy to remove and select according to length or density.
