The Fluo Backing from Guideline is an essential reserve line for loading your fly reels. As well as providing security when fighting powerful fish, it also plays a key technical role in balancing your setup.
Adding this backing increases the effective arbor diameter as your fly line winds onto the spool. This reduces fly line memory and delivers a much higher retrieval rate when winding.
