Guideline NT11 9' Trout Series #4, #5 or #6 Rod
The NT11 rods are the result of using the latest and most sophisticated SOA (State of Art) graphite materials used in the aerospace industry today. These properties allow for amazing speed and recovery power, all combined with the incredible strength of T1100G graphite to achieve the highest modulus ever used in a fly rod to date.
This is the rod series with the lowest empty weight, but the highest breaking strength of the entire guideline range, and probably also of the entire current fly rod market.
You will find these rods easy to handle with their full flex medium/fast action , with tips that are nervous but sensitive enough to make them lively and easy to cast without having to constantly concentrate on perfect timing when casting.
They load deeper and generate increasing amounts of power and line speed when you demand it. While still maintaining impressive ripping power for sinking lines, this type of deeper, yet fast action will suit a wide range of casts, lines and fishing styles.

A word from the designer on the development of the NT11:
In 2019, while reading one of the scientific news journals, to which I subscribe, my interest was drawn to an article published by the Institute for Ultra-Strong Composites by Computational Design (US-COMP) on NASA's development of future carbon materials needed for spacecraft to safely take humans to Mars.
That's where I first came across the name T1100 G and learned that it, along with Hexcel's IM10 material, was used in current Mars spacecraft.
The properties it brings are an incredible resistance to shocks and deformations, I wondered if this material could also bring significant advantages to a fly rod. Since our NT8 rods were still new on the market, I put my thoughts on hold for a year, then brought the subject up in a meeting with our high-end rod manufacturer. It turned out that the material was already being used to produce state-of-the-art graphite golf shafts, which convinced me to try this material for our next generation of high-end fly rods.
And here we are... 3 years later, after extensive action and construction testing, the new Guideline NT11 series of trout and salmon fly rods is born. Rods that are lighter than the NT8, but also stronger, more reliable and more resistant to breakage from bending, compression or impact than any other rod we have ever built.
