The "Squirmy Worm" is a devastatingly effective fly that imitates an aquatic worm. Its body in Squirmy Worm 1.5 mm "Hot Red", Peacock dubbing "Dark Copper UV", and 3 mm silver slotted tungsten bead give it strong pulling power and a fast sink rate.
Relatively easy to tie, it is ideal fished in tandem with a dry fly on stillwaters and works wonders for grayling in rivers.
